About Me
My passion for helping others has been with me for as long as I can remember. From being a camp coordinator in my teens to mentoring and tutoring students in university, I've always been passionate about helping people grow and succeed.

As a therapist, I prioritize taking time to learn about you and your unique needs so that I can build on your existing strengths and encourage further development. Simultaneously, I value working collaboratively so that you feel involved and empowered throughout the therapy process.

My passion for the field of psychotherapy goes beyond my clinical work. I constantly challenge myself to develop professionally through further training and certifications, and I've had the honour of speaking at a number of conferences, including the Harvard Women in Psychology Trends in Psychology Summit in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Additionally, my research on cultural diversity has been published in several peer-reviewed publications.

My therapeutic approach is integrative, pulling from Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Contemporary Psychodynamic approaches, among others. I've also completed training in the Gottman Method, a therapeutic modality specifically designed for couples therapy.

Finally, I employ culturally informed, intersectional, and anti-oppressive practices in my work with individuals from diverse backgrounds to address their needs holistically.

I can provide psychotherapy services in both English and Arabic.

I’m passionate about supporting individuals and couples across cultures. I strive to create a space that feels warm, safe, and non-judgmental, and I value bringing my authentic self to the therapy space so that you can do the same!
