Leigh-Ann is a Registered Psychotherapist who brings nearly 20 years of experience to the Fresh Insight team. She specializes in working with children and families and provides one-on-one therapy with adults.
About Leigh-Ann
Leigh-Ann is passionate about providing individualized therapy to children, families, and adults. In addition to helping families navigate behavioural issues and interpersonal relationships, she is passionate about supporting adults with trauma, anxiety, depression, parenting, relationships, and self-esteem.

Through a strengths-based lens, Leigh-Ann's approach combines in-depth discussion with practical skill development. Her extensive training and expertise include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Triple P Parenting (Positive Parenting Program), and Mindfulness-Based Techniques. She is also a Certified First Responder Counsellor, skilled in Crisis Prevention and Intervention, Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Feedback-Informed Therapy. Her approach is rooted in empathy, empowerment, and evidence-based practices that are personalized to each client's preferences and needs.

Leigh-Ann's commitment to excellence is also reflected in her role as a clinician for the Office of the Children's Lawyer, which represents children under the age of 18 in court cases involving custody and child protection. She has also served as an adjunct professor at Seneca College, where she shared her expertise in Autism and Behavioural Science.
