I'm passionate about helping couples and individuals navigate life's challenges with warmth and understanding. While I primarily rely on Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, I tailor my approach to your unique needs to help you build resilience, deepen self-awareness, and create meaningful change. I offer therapy in English and Persian.
About Me
I have a deep passion for helping couples and individual adults navigate life's challenges, whether these are related to anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, self-doubt, obsessive-compulsive disorder, grief, or trauma.

While journey with therapy began with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) an Schema Therapy—modalities that I still incorporate into my work—I was drawn to the depth of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, which is ideal for those seeking an integrative, deeper understanding of themselves and their subconscious mind. I've been struck by how this approach has allowed my clients to gain a profound sense of clarity, healing, and lasting transformation.

I also have extensive experience working with couples. Whether you're preparing for marriage or striving to reconnect, I use Emotionally Focused Therapy and attachment-based methods to help couples strengthen emotional bonds, improve communication, and create a more secure attachment.
Presently, I am a PhD student at the University of Toronto studying Neuroscience. My research has been published in several academic journals and I have presented as an expert for a number of esteemed organizations such as the CAMH Research Centre.

If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected—from ourself or from those you love—you don't have to navigate it alone. I'm here to help untangle the thoughts that weigh you down, heal from old wounds, and create relationships that feel fulfilling.
